Prior to joining The Pennsylvania State University, Zack Moore served as the Legislative Director for United States Senator Rick Santorum. As the Senator's senior legislative advisor, Mr. Moore was responsible for the development and implementation of the Senator's legislative agenda and supervised 20 legislative staffers. Mr. Moore has also served as Director of Special Projects to Senator Santorum. In this role, he focused primarily on securing federal funding for Pennsylvania. In addition, Mr. Moore advised the Senator on all aspects of transportation and economic development policy.
Mr. Moore has also founded a successful government consulting practice in which he represented corporations, universities, public authorities, and other entities before the federal government.
Mr. Moore began his career on Capitol Hill working for members of the U.S. House of Representatives. First, as a staff assistant to Rep. George Gekas, then as the Legislative Director to Rep. Charles Canady. Mr. Moore developed extensive experience with House Members, staff, and with that Chamber's unique rules and procedures.
A native of Highspire, Pennsylvania, Mr. Moore earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Politics from Penn State in 1994. Mr. Moore resides in State College with his wife, Jean, also a 1994 Penn State Alum, and their two children.
